Courtney Hennessey lives and breathes beads. The 23-year-old jewelry phenom has generated such interest in her Swarovski crystal bead necklaces and bracelets that she can't string 'em fast enough.
"I still do it all myself," she says. "That's the fun part, the part I don't want to give up."
To think, it all started on Christmas break during her junior year in college. "I was bored," says Hennessey, who lives in Jupiter. "It was just something to do."
When unsolicited orders poured in, "something to do" turned into Codi Jewelry, now a full-time endeavor for the St. Louis University grad. Business has been especailly brisk since Hennessey's jewelry was featured on Live with Regis and Kelly.
"I religiously watch the show," she says, wide-eyed. "It was my dream to see Kelly wear my jewelry. I can't believe it happened."
